What was Hirotsugu Tosa known for?

Hirotsugu Tosa specialised in mirror finishing (鏡面仕上) and mirror and honyaki sharpening (本焼研ぎ・鏡面研ぎ). His main work was on Japanese kitchen knives (和庖丁). He had worked in the craft since 1967.
