Handles & sayas
We are not a custom knifemaker, so we cannot offer custom-level service. We do our best to accommodate preferences (horn colour, texture, grain), but we cannot hand-pick handles from our inventory or measure individual blade profiles on request. For that level of service, please work with a custom maker.
Billing & currency
Checkout is by PayPal or credit card, processed securely by Stripe (including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay). Your card details are never disclosed to Knives and Stones. Prices may be displayed in USD, GBP or EUR, but all orders are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD). Your bank may apply a foreign-exchange fee on top of the displayed amount; that fee is set by your bank and is not something we control or refund.
Payment security
We reserve the right to cancel any payment we assess as a fraud risk. If your payment is cancelled, we will contact you to arrange an alternative (for example, PayPal).
Shipping
Orders are dispatched from Australia. International orders ship via DHL Express or Australia Post EMS, with costs shown at checkout. UK orders usually ship by Australia Post EMS. DHL cannot deliver to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses. For delivery times, customs, taxes and duties, see our Shipping Policy.
Order cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any order we cannot fulfil (for example, a longer-than-expected lead time) or that we assess as unsafe. Cancelled orders are refunded in full.
Customs & duties
Import clearance and any taxes or duties are the customer's responsibility. If a parcel is returned to us because local tax was declined or the parcel was refused, shipping both ways is the customer's responsibility. Details are in our Shipping Policy.

Our Refund Policy is the single source of truth for returns, exchanges and refunds.
Privacy
Your personal information is never sold, and is not disclosed to third parties for their own commercial purposes, except where disclosure to relevant authorities is required to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Product information
Japanese hand-forged knives are individually unique, and product information may change without notice. Knives are sold as-is, backed by our strict quality control before dispatch.
