Keijiro Doi (土井敬次郎) was a Sakai blacksmith who forged at Aoki Hamono's Sanpo factory and was the father and teacher of Itsuo Doi.

Who was Keijiro Doi?

Keijiro Doi (土井敬次郎) was a blacksmith based in Sakai, Osaka, Japan. He forged at Aoki Hamono's Sanpo factory (三宝工場), the workshop behind the Sakai Takayuki brand.

Aoki Hamono's own craftsmen page describes him as a master craftsman and the father under whom Itsuo Doi (土井逸夫) trained. Keijiro Doi died on 12 November 2017, aged 90.
