Who did Yoshihiro Yauji train under?

Yauji joined Kitaoka Cutlery (北岡刃物製作所) in April 2003 and studied under Hideo Kitaoka (北岡英雄). Kitaoka is himself recorded in the national Traditional Craftsperson register as an Echizen forged-cutlery Traditional Craftsperson, certified in 2004.

Yauji became independent and established his own workshop, Kutsurogi (寬 -Kutsurogi-), in April 2021.
