Who is Yu Kurosaki?

Yu Kurosaki (黒崎優) is a knifemaker who runs his own brand, 黒﨑打刃物 (Kurosaki Uchihamono). He is the president of the company behind the brand, 株式会社黒﨑打刃物, based in Echizen City, Fukui, Japan.

He is also a certified traditional craftsperson, holding the Dento Kogeishi (伝統工芸士) qualification.
