I went to Sushi Fune twice in 2022, on 4 April and 27 June, with Aoki-san and Kyo-san at the table.

4 April: at the counter
In April several whole fish were held up above the counter. There was also a glazed rectangular portion on an ornate plate, with a long pale garnish laid across it.
27 June: a shared platter
In June a large sashimi platter arrived: red and pale slices on leaves and garnish, with space between the portions. Three bottles stood together at the counter.
We sat side by side at the counter.
If you are planning time in Sakai, the restaurant is in Kumanocho-higashi, near the Oshoji stop on the Hankai line.
